From Nov. 11-15, students and staff spread kindness throughout the school with special activities geared towards the importance of kindness and fostering positivity and community spirit. We're so excited to have inspired the fun and impactful Kindness Week at John Marshall School No. 20. It was a great success!
One highlight of the week was the Poetry Contest, where students expressed their creativity and shared uplifting messages with their peers about the importance of kindness. The Kimberly Anne Wilson Foundation is proud to have provided the prizes for the winners of these thoughtful and inspiring contests! 🎨✍️

Let’s inspire each other to celebrate kindness and make a lasting impact on our community.

Cranford HS Student Wellness Fair
On November 14th, The Kimberly Anne Wilson Foundation had the privilege of being part of the Cranford Wellness Fair, where we shared tools and positive affirmation messages for mental wellness with the students. Students enjoyed our magnetic sand, colored rice, and other stress relief tools.

Thank you to Cranford High School for providing us an opportunity to connect with your your students and spread awareness about the importance of taking care of their mental health!
Kindness Magic Show at Diamond Hill Montessori School

This World Kindness Day, the Kimberly Anne Wilson Foundation brought a touch of magic and a message of kindness to young hearts. At Diamond Hill Montessori School, students ages 4 to 6 were treated to an enchanting experience featuring magician Gary Ferrar, whose interactive performance blended awe-inspiring tricks with the transformative power of kindness.
The event wasn’t just about dazzling illusions; it was a heartfelt lesson on the importance of empathy, compassion, and small acts of kindness. Gary’s magical storytelling demonstrated how a simple smile, a helping hand, or a kind word can create ripples of positivity in our lives and the world around us. His unique approach left the children mesmerized and inspired to make kindness a part of their daily lives.
In addition to the performance, the Foundation donated copies of A Little Spot of Emotions by Diane Alber to the school’s classroom libraries. This beloved book series empowers young readers to understand and manage their emotions, reinforcing the Foundation’s commitment to supporting mental health education from an early age. Each student also got to take home A Little Spot of Kindness by Diane Alber.
The Kimberly Anne Wilson Foundation is proud to create opportunities like this that foster kindness, well-being, and emotional resilience in children. Events like these honor Kimberly’s legacy by nurturing compassionate communities and reminding us that, together, we can make the world a kinder place.
Girls on The Run

On Nov. 16, we were happy to be apart of Girls on The Run annual 5K at Branch Brook Park in Newark. This organization teaches young girls life skills, emotional management , the value of good friendships, and empathy and respect towards others. "Girls on the Run has fun, evidence-based programs that inspire participants to recognize their inner strength, increase their level of physical activity, imagine their possibilities, and confidently stand up for themselves and others."
