TRAUMA-INFORMED PROGRAM
In partnership with Peace of Mind, the KAW Foundation is funding a trauma-informed program led by an experienced mental health clinician for high school students.

self-expression through art PROGRAM
In partnership with the Visual Arts Center of NJ, art therapists run a 6 week program titled "Self- Expression Through Art". This is a phenomenal way for students to express their feelings through art.

ANTI-BULLYING PRESENTATION
In partnership with Minding Your Mind, the KAW Foundation funds anti-bullying presentation for students in grades 6-8 and their parents.

PET THERAPY
In partnership with Creature Comfort Pet Therapy, the KAW Foundation provides therapy dogs to visit students in their classrooms. This form of therapy is known to lower stress and anxiety levels while fostering a nurturing environment to provide emotional comfort to students.

PARENT WELLNESS NIGHT
The KAW Foundation funds Parent Wellness Night for parents of high school students. These events include breakout sessions with multiple presentations on mental health and coping strategies.

internet safety & cyberbullying expert presentations
The KAW Foundation funds internet safety & cyberbullying expert presentations for students in middle and high school.

music therapy
This therapy leverages the transformative power of music, allowing students to engage in activities like playing instruments, singing, or listening to music. It's an effective tool for emotional expression, improving communication skills, and fostering social interaction.

Girl scouts
In partnership with the Girl Scouts of Central and Southern NJ, the KAW Foundation funds art therapy for 6th-8th graders, music therapy for 4th-5th graders, and an interactive mental health presentation by LCSW, Connie Palmer.
