On December 19th, Marianne Wilson and her daughter, Jenn, from the Kimberly Anne Wilson Foundation hosted Roselle Park High School’s second annual pop-up store. In the spirit of the season, students in grades 9–12 were given the opportunity to “buy” secondhand clothing carefully curated by Jenn Wilson.

Students at Roselle Park High School experienced a powerful act of kindness this past Thursday. The Kimberly Anne Wilson Foundation (KAW Foundation) brought a pop-up clothing boutique to the high school, allowing students the opportunity to shop gently used to like new clothing, shoes, and accessories for free. The initiative was spearheaded by Jennifer Wilson.

The 5 kilometer road-race is sanctioned and certified by the USA Track and Field Association and considered an official USATF500 Point Event.

This May, ten towns across Union and Morris Counties are joining forces to shine a light on mental health through the “Paint the Town Green” campaign. Led by the New Providence Mental Health Advocacy & Education Committee, in partnership with the Kimberly Anne Wilson Foundation, the Rotary Club of MH Advocates, and the Mental Health Association in New Jersey (MHANJ), the initiative aims to engage students, businesses, and citizens in fostering awareness and support for mental health.

Students at Mountain Park Elementary School recently piloted ‘The Comfort Kit Project’, a program made possible through a collaboration between the Berkeley Heights Mayor’s Wellness Committee and Berkeley Heights Public Schools. The Comfort Kit Project was created in an effort to support the mental health of elementary-age students with the goal that each student would make an emotional tool kit that they could then use during the school day when dealing with feelings and emotions.

The evening featured a screening of Screen Agers: Growing Up in the Digital Age, a thought-provoking documentary examining the impact of screen time on children and families. Sponsored by the Kimberly Anne Wilson (KAW) Foundation and coordinated by Debbie Merrick of the New Providence Mental Health Advocacy & Education Committee in partnership with Marianne Wilson of the KAW Foundation, the event drew nearly 400 registrants of students and parents to New Providence High School.
